Rita Reed has earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting. Her professional art career is varied. Ms. Reed taught art in college, and traveled as a registered historical artist for the United States Coast Guard. She has also been commissioned by the United States Naval Institute, the United States Army, and NASA, been a courtroom artist in high-profile trials, plus many other artistic endeavors. She is also a member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

Oh! Look at Me! is her first children’s book, and she is currently working on additional books designed to reassure and encourage young children.
